Bad electrical system

Review

Great car fun to drive. Lots of electrical problems, can't remember how many times I have had the radio repaired or replaced, still not fixed. Don't waste your money on this one.

Review

This is an amazing car. Consistently returns 30 mpg, while delivering great performance, safety, and comfort. The trunk is huge - our family of four has taken 2 vacations in it with no problems. Traded in a big SUV for it, a little worried about the downsizing. We have had absolutely no problems - this car is a perfect size for a family.

Favorite Features

Rain sensing wipers. Great radio.

Suggested Improvements

Cup holders are too complicated. Just simple holes will do.

Nanananana... I've got one & the rest of the world is jealous. This is the real zoom zoom. Fastest car I've ever driven. Passengers noice the speed. Steering is as good as an EVO. Acceleration is somewhat violent and obnoxious as is the speed leveling, but still worth the effort & the money.

Torque with speed.

Suggested Improvements

Send over at least a 50 mile strip of autobahn with puchase of any AMG.

Great car, poor reliability

Review

This is a great car - when it runs. The engine is very strong but the electrical system is very unreliable. You will get to know the MB service dept. well. Moreover, this is a fancy car and many mechanics are not trained to fix it's problems. Find a good mechanic and get the extended warranty!

Needs to be much more reliable. Too many features means too many breakdowns.

Review

There is nothing like a Mercedes-Benz. Here is the bottom line. Mercedes-Benz, like all cars, must be properly maintained inside and out for it to perform and be relied upon during its long life. These are highly advanced vehicles which deserve much respect, and that means no cutting corners when it comes to maintenance and repairs. Most people complaining about their Benz either obtained it from poor care or have not been providing the proper care . I will admit, it does take a financial commitment to make this happen, but so does the proper care for a Honda Civic if you wish to have it running like new at 120K miles. I am blessed to have my 04 E320 Sport and its simply a great car.

Favorite Features

Pneumonic suspension, ABS, stereo/navi, high intensity projector lamps, torque and its ability to go exactly wherever you want it, regardless of your speed.

Suggested Improvements

Do not like a plastic grille, some interior components have cheap feel, like steering wheel color rubbs off, and other plastic bits like to detach for no apparent reason.

Awesome, but no improvement over previous

Review

Great car. Feels very solid and tank like as should any Mercedes. I should advise any interested buyers to highly consider the more expensive E500 wagon cause 221 hp isn't going to keep this two ton wagon up to speed with any Porsches. All in all a still excellent buy (not cheap though). My previous 2000 E320 wagon looked almost exactly the same even though there was a redesign last year. Very comfortable and relaxing to drive for long and quick trips. navigation system isnt that complicating, ride quality is amazing, and 4MATIC works great in foul weather. My rear window just randomly stopped functioning but other than that reliability has been decent. I timed a 0-60 run of about 8 seconds

COMMAND, 4MATIC, silky smooth ride and transmission

Suggested Improvements

Needs more power! 0-60 in 8 seconds is not your typical Benz! Needs to be more distinguished from previous model

I have had this car for almost one year and have not had any problems with it. Great car, good power, fun to drive and definitely a head turner.

Favorite Features

Nav, heated massaging seats, streptronic shift.

Seats can be a little uncomfortable sometimes, that's just my impression

The perfect car

Review

I had been looking at the sport sedans such as Infinity and Acura, but although they were fast, they lacked rear seating capacity for 3 kids. Also the interiors appear to be cheap and not too appealing (especially if you like the luxurious look while still maintaining the sportiness). I fell in love with this car the moment I looked inside. It looks rich, not cheap at all, definitely has the wow factor. This car had so many really cool bells and whistles, I have never had such a comfortable ride, great handling and speed adjusters make for a great ride.I average 28mpg on hwy and around 20 in town. not bad for v6.

Favorite Features

Panoramic sunroof that can be opened closed with remote key along with all the windows. Braking system. Can stop on a dime at high speed. It is sensitive so takes getting used to.

Suggested Improvements

Blue tooth capability, longer time on warranty. Not too many people hit 100,000 miles in 5 years.

Review

The car is perfect. The car just goes once you put your foot on the gas. The GPS is amazing. The directions it gives you are way better than BMW's GPS system. Other features I like are distronic, it's really helpful on a long drive.I also like the push button starter altough you could get mixed-up when changing the gears. Also the solar panels are great for hot days because when you leave the car outside for a long time the solar panel would use it's energy to keep the car cool.

Favorite Features

GPS. Panoramic sunroof. Solar panels. Distronic and many, many more.
