mercedes benz has been the best for years, mercedes benz is the best currently, always will be the best. ever since the 80's SEC coupes, amg has built the best translation of a modern muscle car. 130k is alot, but how else can you rocket 2 tons to 60mph in under 5 seconds? ricers beware, never step to the lord of the autobahn.

Favorite Features

best marage of speed and comfort, its a lear jet for the highway.

the new limited CL 65, 6.0L biturbo V12, yes they made it faster, with 608bhp

The most awsome car on the planet to drive. A sport car that can seat the whole family (if you have a family of 4:-)

my opinion of my CL500

Review

This is a beautiful car. Unfortunatly bugs are always popping up. The most recent problems have been with the electric seats and windows not working. One time the car completely shut itself down due to a electrical problem.

Ride is good, Looks are great

Suggested Improvements

The electrical bugs need to get worked out. Especially the ones that cause the car to break down on the side of the road. If the car was cheap you would expect problems but a $100,000 car should not have very many problems.

Review

I just bought my 2003 CL55 about one week ago. I have to say that I have bags under my eyes from lack of sleep because all I want to do is drive my car. If you want a head turner, this is the car.

Favorite Features

I would say that the PURE POWER of the car is astonishing. I also own a 2004 BMW M3 and a 2004 Corvette. Neither of these cars could hold a candle to the Benzo

Suggested Improvements

One problem that I have found was that the fold out cup holders are flimsy, and mine have even malfunctioned to the point that I need to have it serviced.

This is the best car i have ever driven. I previously owned a 2001 porsche carrera, and a BMW 840 along with a Mercedes CLK 430. The car offers u power and performance and an extremely cofortable quiet ride. It will take off if u want it to.

TO DATE I HAVE LOGGED 2000 MILES. I HAVE BEEN TOTALLY IMPRESSED WITH THE HANDLING OF MY CL55. THERE IS NO HESITATION WHEN ACCELERATING AT ANY SPEED AS THE SUPER-CHARGED ENGINE ANSWERS INSTANTLY. IT SEEMS THAT EVERY ASPECT OF THE CAR IS DESIGNED TO WORK HOMOGENIOUSLY. EX. THE BRAKING EXUDES CONFIDENCE, THE CORNERING HOLDS EFFORTLESSLY, THE SEATS ADJUST PERFECTLY TO MY SIZE ETC.

Favorite Features

MY FAVORITE FEATURE SEEMS TO BE THE MECHANICAL CONFIDENCE THAT I FEEL IN THE HANDLING AT ANY SPEED OR SITUATION. THE STYLING AND SYMETRY IS ALSO VERY PLEASING.

Suggested Improvements

THE NAVIGATION AND AUDIO SYSTEM IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO ADJUST. MERCEDES INSTRUCTIONS ARE YEARS BEHIND. I AM USED TO TOUCH SCREEN AND LOGIC THAT IS USER FRIENDLY. I THINK THEY ARE CAPABLE BUT CHOSE TO PUT THERE EMPHASIS ON THE MACHINE ASPECTS.

2004 CL500

Review

The CL500 comes close to meeting my expectations. Most features of this uber-machine are on a par with any super coupe on the planet. The exterior styling is elegant but understated. The engine and drivetrain are beyond comparison. The interior improvements over all other MB models sold me on the car. I am still disappointed that the floor carpeting and headliner material is less luxurious than my previous Lexus LS430. The dash (all leather), the seats, the center console and the instrument cluster are all amazing manifestations of the art of automotive design. Well done MB.

Exterior and interior styling. Engine, torque, suspension.

Suggested Improvements

Floor, head liner, rear deck materials need improvement. These are upgraded on the CL600 but I shouldn't have to pay extra for these in a $100,000 car. The front cup-holder is worthy of Rube Goldberg.

This is the most exerhilarting automobile I have ever driven.It gives me a rush just to press the accelarater and feel the power. It also gets a lot of attenion wherever I go.

Review

Quietest, most comfortable supercar on the road. The seating and positioning is just right. The lines of the vehicle are so nice that it is nice to just look at it sitting in the garage.

Favorite Features

The car is very comfortable and so quiet while driving. This car has incredible power but it never feels pushed and ushers the occupants around safely, quickly, in a high level of quiet comfort.

Suggested Improvements

Simplify the Command Center a bit but it does have so many options that is may not be easy to do this.
