I can only tell you what I have read in many car mags, the Jags are notorious for electrical problems, even new ones. I just bought a 2008 C300 and I just love it. So in my opinion, go for the Benz. Good luck. Read More...

I am on the fence about buying one of these two automobiles. Both are selling for about the same price ($10K) and have about the same amount of milage (65K). I'm leaning towards the Benz because it is a one-owner car (vs 3 owners for Jag), but like the bigger engine on the Jag and the AWD + the sunroof. The "headlining" surrounding the bonnet release under the dashboard in my C200K Coupe (2004) keeps dropping into the footwell. It is a shaped piece of trim backed with thick felt. I have a 2004 C320 4-Matic that has had no problems--NONE. It will be 5 yrs old in Jan. Driven it to Fla 2 times, Ga 2 times , Vt, etc. It gets 20mpg putting around town and 30+ mpg on the highway at 80mph in complete safety and luxury. This is my 3rd Benz and would highly recommend to everyone. P. S. The Dealer has been great to deal with also. Read More...

I owned a Lexus Rx300 and had porblem after problem with it and the dealer repair cost was silly. I traded it out for a c240 2004 and loved it and had no problems with it and just six weeks ago my dealer called asking if i would like to swap out my 240 for a 2007 c230 sport. I worked out a deal and am now driving a c230 which seems much better to drive and lookes slicker too. Overall ... Read More...
