I am thinking between Buy or lease a new 300 sport 09 Mercedes with wood trim. So, the offers are as follows: Buy: $2000 down and pay $570 per month for five and half years with 1.9% Lease: Zero down and pay $530 per month for four years with 15000 mile per year limit and I have to pay $559 when I return the car after four years. First step is to negotiate a good selling price. You should be able to easily get under invoice these days. I am negotiating for c300 sport 4matic right now, and I got quotes $2000 below invoice from three different dealers in DC Metro area. So I think it is very much possible. I currently own an 07 Camry. I am upside down about 2000 -2500. I want to lease an 08 or an 09 base model automatic C300, approximate price is 33,000. I am hoping to get my payment UNDER 500. There are good dealers and there are bad dealers. The Prius is very much in demand these days with high oil/gas prices. I've visited four dealers. Two of them mark up the car by $2000-2.500 market price adjustment...and claim that I will not find any dealer who even sells at MSRP. I have the same car C240 MB, 2001. It's a piece of junk. I've had so many problems with this car that I want to get rid of it today. We've been spending $1000 to $2000 every 2 or 3 months to keep this car running even though we have regular services w/ MB dealer. I don't know about 2003 model, but I guess things don't change much, especially for Mercedez. I have a C 240 2001 model and feel so regret. I drove BMW and wanted to try out Mercedez. My wife and I took European Delivery in late September 2007 on a 2008 E320 Blutec, drove about 1500 miles through Austria, Switzerland, Italy and France before dropping the car in Nice for shipment to Jacksonville.
