2003 Mercedes-Benz M-Class SUV ML320 AWD 4dr SUV (3.2L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Overall, I have found the M-class to be
a very enjoyable and reliable car to
own. The only problem I have had is
with the coolant light coming on and
the dealership has resolved the problem
quickly and professionally. The
interior is very comfortable and user-
friendly. It handles more like a car
than a truck and overall is a smooth
ride. Gas mileage is average, could be
better.

Best Features

interior controls and seating (comfortable)

Worst Features

improved power under the hood. A little sluggish with pickup.

2003 Mercedes-Benz M-Class SUV ML320 AWD 4dr SUV (3.2L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Love the look, the feeling of safety
and luxury combined, which is crutial
in my work of selling real estate.
Chose it hands down over a Lexus SUV,
even though ride is rougher and am so
thrilled that I did.

Best Features

Leather seats, visibility, GPS system! cargo space & ability to fold down rear seats, exterior & interior design, and short turning radius.

Worst Features

Would love to lose that jarring when going over bumps or dips in road. Would love to see it offered in yellow - most of the colors are for guys.

2003 Mercedes-Benz M-Class SUV ML350 AWD 4dr SUV (3.7L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I replaced my 1999 ML430 with a 2003
ML350. Improvements have definitely
been made with regard to ride and
handiling of the '03. The 2003 has a
softer feel, though I do receive more
engine noise than the ML430. My two
biggest gripes are the same as those I
have read in other chat rooms: no
stereo controls on the steering wheel
and poor fuel economy. Other than that,
it's a great rig in many, many ways.
Dealers are very aggressive with
pricing on the MLs right now, too, so
it's a good time to buy!

Best Features

Probably the safest SUV on the road, which is very comforting. Great stereo! Heated seats come in handy in Minnesota.

Worst Features

Stereo controls should be included with a vehicle that lists for $43,500! A couple more MPG would be nice, too.

Review

The gas mileage on this vehicle has
been awful. The sticker states it gets
15 city 18 hwy. I have yet to get 13
on the highway and I am lucky to get 11
around town. It is a noisy vehicle and
really needs steering wheel audio
controls. My GMC Yukon is overall a
much better vehicle. The third row is
even smaller than expected. It is
pretty much useless.

Worst Features

Steering wheel audio controls, improved gas mileage (gets worse than my Yukon XL), a little bit larger so the the third row can be used, even for a child.
