Review

The ML has a lot of minor annoying
build quality problems and this
distracts from the capability of the
truck. A good dealership makes the
difference between frustration and
having an excellent ownership
experience. Now, the ML is a great
deal in the market. The drive is
great and it's offroad prowess is
really second to none, not even the
Cayenne can keep up!! The ML500 is
the choice and the best SUV deal
anywhere, period.

Best Features

That darn adaptive tranny is probably the best feature for me. then again, there are so many little thoughtful things that go into the ML, I can't list them all. If only the build quality was better!!!!!!

Worst Features

Build it right, give the base model more power, steering wheel controls a must, gat a tailgate window that opens/closes, and there's more.

Review

Love the ML500. Park Place gives
excellent service.

Best Features

Love the space, quality and pep it has.

Worst Features

Mirror on passenger side to move downward automatically as you place the car in reverse. At present, you have to press passenger window button to achieve this.

Review

Purchased as a flexible, sturdy, safe
vehicle with a luxury image, we have
been satisfied on those criteria. It
is strongly-built with many safety
features. The V6 seems undersized, but
the smooth 5sp automatic works to give
the ML adequate grunt. Fuel economy is
low (16-17MPG). Ride is choppy, but
improves with additional cargo or
passengers. Interior is roomy, quiet
and refined in Mercedes style, with a
great seating position. I find the
seats overly firm for long trips. 4
wheel traction and braking systems and
high clearances make this a decent off
road SUV. Interior pieces have broken,
fixed under warranty. Dealer service
is as expensive as feared.

Best Features

Outstanding safety features and ratings, a real feeling of sturdiness. Seating position gives a feeling of command of the vehicle. Great usable space on a relatively short wheelbase. Great transmission and very usable off road drive system.

Worst Features

Reduce service costs. Improve suspension compliance. Pad the seats a little more. Delicate and complex interior systems (cupholders, console lids) could be made simpler and sturdier
