Review

my truck handles like a sports car, and runs like the wind. however i who am notoriously light on the brakes go through a set of disc and rotors every 22000 miles. the dealership used regular oil instead of synthetic in the a and b services and it uses a good bit of oil. i have replaced the electrical controls for the windows every year. and the a and b services have increased in price from 79.00 for a and 179.00 for b. to 179.00 for a and up to 500.00 for b. i have noticed that the trade in value of this model hasn't held up as i thought it would for a suv that consumer reports rated as the best.

redesign the power window controls. redesign the brakes. punish mercedes dealers that used regular oil in your car that goes up to 14000 between changes and tells you when to change it. and rebuild engines that using such oils have damaged

Hello, I am responding to your review on Edmond.com on 05/17/02. I am having many problems that other people are having the exact same key, ignition, replacing the whole switch box 3 times in order to work the windows and electrical problems with the 1998 ML320. MB is telling me than my problem is rare which I am finding out is not true. They are also trying to charge me storage fees and want to charge me $6,000 to change out the whole system, as well as, repurchase more keys in order to use the new system. If you could please contact me as soon as possible and perhaps give me copies of your repair records if you can obtain them or contact your repair place I will be very appreciative.
