2014 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class GLK350 4MATIC 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 7A)

Review

Purchased in December of 2013. Since then, we now have 9,200 miles on her. It's great! Love the look of it. Aggressive for a smaller SUV. AND the comfort of it! Options are great. EXCEPT the stock GPS sucks. It can't find it's way out of a paper bag. AND, for it's cost, there should be more (Standard) options. AND the iPod station keeps forgetting that it's plugged in. A back up monitor, better GPS ($3000 option) and tilting mirrors would be groovy standard. Not a lot of room for stuff and the dog.

Best Features

Heated seats, towing ability and package, comfort, visibility and reliability.

Worst Features

More room in the trunk would be nice. The GLA must be like a box. Improve the standard GPS and or give an up-grade for those that already own it.

2014 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class GLK350 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 7A)

Review

Bought the car for the name only.

Best Features

Nothing exceptional. All the features are available in my lower end KIA.

Worst Features

1. Wiper arm will hit the hood if someone will raise it during manual car washing. 2. Between my E350 and my GLK 350, the turn signal switches and the cruise control switches were backward from one another. 3. Mounting the front license plate holder of the GLK 350 with AMG sports package will make the appearance ugly and yet it is illegal not to have one in Texas. MB must design a different way of mounting the license plate holder where you don't have to drill on the chrome plated bumper.

2014 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class GLK350 4MATIC 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 7A)

Review

The GLK is exactly what I was looking for. A lot of the SUV's out there today are nothing more than mini-vans designed to appeal to male drivers. That being said, I purchased the GLK for two reasons: performance and quality. The GLK moves; it's nimble, deceivingly quick (when in sport mode) and it holds corners very well. The paddle shifters are awesome! The exterior has very distinct, bold lines and the interior is luxury as it should be. If you have need for more cargo room than a sedan, but don't want sacrifice performance... the GLK is for you. Oh, and it's a Mercedes- German engineering. Need I say more?

Best Features

ECO Mode is a plus- great gas mileage for such a sporty vehicle. Speaking of sport, the GLK doesn't get it's due when it comes to performance; this crossover has balls. The interior is refined and you KNOW you're in a luxury vehicle. The base sound system is better than most premium systems in domestic models. Technology features such as Bluetooth, voice commands and navigation work flawlessly unlike a lot of the sketchy packages out there today. I've read a lot about road noise at higher speeds but I have yet to experience it. It's just a SOLID vehicle all around.

Worst Features

A true AMG model with HP in excess of 350. Sunglasses holder and maybe more room in the dash. Xenon headlights as a standard option- at 45K for a well equipped model, Xenon lights are a must without having to purchase an extra package.

Review

I bought my GLK 350 base 2014 model back in August 2013 for 36k. I have driven around 2500 miles. So far i have not found any issues with the vehicle. Smooth ride, negligible noise while driving. Two important features that i liked the most. 1) It has two modes, ECO/Sport. In ECO mode, when stop at a light, engine stops and saves gas. 2) while stopping at a light uphill, you can just take your legs off from the brake. I was surprised at its fuel efficiency. It gives 24 mpg for city and over 31 for highway. For a V6, what else you can hope for!!!

Best Features

Engine shuts down when you come to a stop while driving in ECO mode saving gas.
