I completely agree with you, kdl0013. $5,000 is way too much money to pay at lease signing. If your truck ends up getting stolen or totaled in an accident over the course of your lease, there's a good chance that you'll never see that money again. You're better off putting as little money down as possible when leasing. Lessees through Mercedes-Benz Financial can usually get away with only paying their vehicle's ... Read More
Hi kooper. The residual value that you were quoted is right on the money, but the money factor is a little high. Mercedes-Benz Financial's September buy rate lease money factor for a 36 month lease of a 2010 GLK 350 4Matic is .00217 for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier. It's difficult for me to evaluate this deal completely without knowing this truck's selling price. Have the manager tell ... Read More

Hey landrover1. Generally speaking, manufacturers' advertised lease payments leave a little meat on the bone so to speak. MB's official payment on the 2010 GLK350W4 assumes a dealer discount of around $800. The advertised vehicle probably has a gap of around $2,600 between its full MSRP and dealer invoice price. That means that the price used in the ad is probably around $1,800 or so over invoice. There's definitely some room ... Read More

I'm looking at the GLK too, but I'm not in the market immediately. I would wait a few more months; not sure if there will be any difference other then the rumored Diesel version. I first laid eyes on the GLK back in December of 2008; the showroom had just received their one and only floor model. I was impressed immediately. I still didn't understand why they had a "2010" model ... Read More
My wife bought a 2010 GLK 350 4Matic on October 31st. List price was $41,740. She paid $37,000 plus tax. She also financed at 36 months at 1.9% with Mercedes paying the first two payments up to $650 per month. She bought the car at Inskip Motors in Warwick, R.I. We live about 6 miles from the dealer.
Will the US get the 220cdi for the 2011MY (available in 2010 as a 2011 model) as suggested in this Inside Line article below? http://www.insideline.com/mercedes-benz/glk-class/2010/il-insider-mercedes-- launches-glk-confirms-its-eyeing-production-shift-to-us.html If true, it would mean the GLK220CDI would be in the US in 2010 as a 2011. Who would rather have the diesel? An average of just under 40 mpg seems very attractive. Any US members putting off their purchase of a GLK350 in hopes ... Read More

Hey sw286. This truck's monthly payment will depend upon its selling price. For now I will assume that you are able to negotiate a $2,000 dealer discount. According to my calculations, if you were to lease a 2010 GLK350 AWD that has an MSRP of $43,000 and a selling price of $41,000 through Mercedes-Benz Finance right now for 36 months with 10,000 miles per year, your zero down, pre-tax monthly payment ... You'll remember the marketing campaign that introduced the 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 4Matic. So we expected to find as much depth and enjoyment in the first compact SUV from Mercedes-Benz as that well-regarded piece of cinematic art from 2008, Sex and the City. 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 4Matic Full Test

If they bring the GLK 320 CDI to the USA, I would consider it. It should in reality get over 30 MPG on the highway. That would just about cut my mileage in half from my Sequoia. No interest in a premium gas Mercedes or BMW. Only diesel will get my hard earned cash.
There's good planning and there's good fortune, and we can't be sure which of these are to blame for the imminent arrival of a new compact SUV, the 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK. This new baby Benz will hit U.S. showrooms in January 2009, and although we aren't able to forecast what the gas price will be right then, it seems unlikely that it will be appreciably lower than it is now.
