2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E350 2dr Coupe (3.5L 6cyl 7A)
Wonderful car for the intended purpose; very happy with the purchase.
A most relaxing ride; very comfortable & supportive seats and least amount of road noise I have experienced in a car. Have the premium 2 and sports package. Got 46mpg with cruise control going 71mph on a road trip; around town average ~30. Get well over 500 miles per tank of diesel. Stereo system overall is fantastic, navigation system is a much needed improvement over previous generation and is very good.
Engineering is what is expected; best in class trunk size when trunk closes engineered to not pinch the luggage! All season floor mats a must for us; cost extra but are great.
Bluetooth works fine & easy to set up.
Blocks out most exterior noise.
AC, stereo system with i-phone are outstanding.
Spouse likes the driver side message and playing Pandora from the i-phone.
For several weeks in the spring diesel was cheaper than gas.
Filling up for fuel about half as often from previous car as the tank is large (~21 gallon) and gets great mileage.
Auto up and down for every window from all seats.
At ~ 15k miles, not a single problem with the car.
Purchased the trunk liner - feels cheap compared to Honda products.
Spouse wants passenger seat message just like the one the in driver's seat.
A little soft in steering/driving but to some extent was a known compromise driving a bigger sedan.
Keyless go works great but need to periodically replace batteries in FOB (~ 6-9 months & is easy to do).
Took too long to set up garage door opener from rear view mirror - finally called Mercedes and had it done within an hour.
Need to keep an eye out for diesel stations and only use the reputable ones.
Last but not least, this car is probably most expensive in class to purchase.
