    I would pay that price plus tax, etc. just make sure the car is certified and is warranted by Mercedes for 6 years and 100,000 miles.

    sounds like an excellent plan. Unless things have changed dramatically, by far the best lease on the bluetec is 24 months due to an extremely high residual. For gas cars it's 33 months. Likely the dealer won't believe the payment is correct because they don't know 24 months is better. Don't worry about insulting a dealer...that's rediculous.     Answered in the Diesel thread....but the only disadvantage is that there are some gas stations that don't carry diesel but given the number of trucks and pickups that use diesel, it's really not a problem.     I am not sure how to view mbrace 2 because it's really not well defined...it's marketing speak. mbrace is standard on my 2011 e...but without a subscription, it does nothing (even in an emergency).     I believe your salesperson was correct because the USAA pricing is actually $1500 below invoice. You did get the conquest discount of $2000, which you cannot get if you use USAA pricing. When you pick up the car, you should pay the first month's lease payment, the title/registration fees and any taxes required by law.     A lease on the diesel will be significantly cheaper due to the much higher residuals. For the 2011's, the lowest cost leases were 24 month on the Diesel and that might well still be the case.     Don't buy a car your wife doesn't want to drive....big big mistake. However, you should be able to lease a 2011 BlueTec with P1/P2 for 24mos 12K/year for under $500/month....using MSD's and no down payment, as you want.....and don't forget to include mercedes maintenance in that lease.

    I'd wait for the 2012. Mercedes usuaslly has good incentives in December, but they wont match the 2011 pricing. If you wait you'll get the new engine and the color you want, which will pay off at resale time. I'd go with the luxury model for the more comfortable ride, better tire wear, etc. Good luck.

    sounds like a great deal (better than mine last month). If you haven't, and if you still can I recommend that you buy the mercedes maintenance (from mercedes as a "feature") and include it in your monthly lease. You will only have to pay .24 of the total costl, so it is actually a real bargain since mercedes leases require you to do the recommended maintenances in full.

    That multiple security deposit would have paid you an effective rate of about 11% on your money and it's guaranteed by Mercedes :) Final question....did you buy a BlueTec? That residual seems very high for a gas 2011 e350 unless mercedes significantly raised the residuals in September which is very unlikely.

The reduction in money factor by Mercedes Finance is .00007 for each security deposit. Each finance company calculates the "security deposit" amount differently.     I don't think it is worth it. All it covers is your A and B services. It does not cover brakes, steering, etc. So, really, all you are getting is oil changes and some other "minor" services.     I do not know the specific restrictions on the conquest program, but if you currently drive an Infiniti, no matter how old it is or what model it is, I would think you would still qualify since you are going from an Infiniti to a Mercedes.
