Acceleration commentsLike most Benzes, the E550's best dynamic trait is its acceleration. Launched with minimal wheelspin and ESP off and the E550 runs this number. Wow! It couldn't be easier.

Braking commentsAverage brake feel and response. Effectiveness comes further in the travel than I'd like. First stop was 119 feet, following four were around 127 feet.
Handling ratingAverage
Handling commentsCan't fully disable the stability control, the E550's handling is safe, but hardly engaging. Plus it hates changing direction compared to more athletic rivals.
