Remarkably quiet, incredibly powerful
and fun to drive. This is my first new
Mercedes, bought with the idea it will
have to last several years. I don't
think I'll be disappointed. I'm 6'6''
tall and look forward to long trips in
this car. It's that comfortable and a
joy to drive.
The CDI diesel represents an incredible
technological marriage of noise
control, torque and fuel economy. The
car is solid and fun to drive. I must
have a "new generation" model as there
are two cup holders (though small) for
the driver and front seat passenger.
The fuel fill opening needs to be
enlarged. It works fine for a one inch
automotive-sized delivery nozzle, but
does not accomodate a 1.5 inch nozzle
found at most truck-oriented diesel
pumps. This is a problem
on long trips. Steering stiff at
low speeds/panel controls confusing
