2002 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E55 AMG Rwd 4dr Sedan (5.4L 8cyl 5A)

Review

Has all the power you could want and
transfers it to the pavement well.
Absolutely no mechanical problems in
nearly 2 years.

Power

Worst Features

More travel to the drivers seat for us tall people.

2002 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E320 Rwd 4dr Sedan (3.2L 6cyl 5A)

Review

First car I've ever owned with zero
defects. Also my first automatic.
Alittle clunky out of first gear when
cold. Very powerful engine and
unexpectedly great fuel economy. About
16 mpg in downtown Washington DC and a
solid 30 mpg on the open road. Bose
sound system is fantastic. Fit and
finish are impeccable. Wish they sold a
turbodiesel.

Best Features

Solid, bank vault construction. Fanatically over engineered suspension, especially in the rear.

Worst Features

Lower door trim is susceptible to catching dirt. Front seat tracks are exposed and inconsistent with overall fit and finish. Windshield has been replaced twice...too vulnerable to chipping.

2002 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E320 Rwd 4dr Sedan (3.2L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I bought this car without extensively
test driving it. Campared the specs,
similar to 99 lexus GS I owned.
Very Sadly disappointed. All cars are
not created equal. Miss the silky ride
with the superb precision ride of the
lexus. People think I am crazy if I
tell them Lexus is a better ride.
Every once in a while I forget I am in
the benz when I try talking a turn at
high speed. Also hard to keep this car
within the lane. In my lexus I could
drive with my hands of and felt the
car to be an extension of me.

Best Features

Automated Wiper, Cool Exterior Looks and of course the mercedes logo. My only consolation, when I look through the windsheild and see the 3 point logo on the dash.

Worst Features

Must have automatic lights. Softer seats. One touch sunroof open/close

2002 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E320 4MATIC AWD 4dr Wagon (3.2L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I hate mini-vans! Give me a car or a
truck. A MV is neither. Anyway, it was
time to replace the wife's van and she
wanted a new one. "How about an SUV?" I
said. "NO WAY" came the reply. The not
so obvious but perfect answer was an
E320 4-Matic Wagon. Room for the
"Soccer Mom" chores, AWD for the snow,
and handling that makes you forget it's
a wagon! 23+ MPG at speed, try that in
an SUV. Just go buy one!

Best Features

Quality,Styling,Performance,Comfort In any order.

Worst Features

Memory Seats should move to position without having to hold the button.

2002 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E430 4MATIC AWD 4dr Sedan (4.3L 8cyl 5A)

Review

excellent automobile that is responsive
to commands. It handles extremely well
and drives like you would expect a
Mercedes to drive.

Worst Features

I am disappointed that the sun visor does not have an extension to block out more of the sun. This wouldn't be an expensive addition and would add a bit more class.
