After extensive research and comparison, I have reached the following conclusions: (1) MB CLK-350 has rather poor resale value as compared to a comparable Bimmer 328 coupe.   I will be leasing either of the two cars within the month. I have test driven both, and am doing research. Has anyone owned both models in the past? Any current CLK drivers that can comment on their experience with the car? BMW owners?   We opted for the extended warranty based on several factors. 1-This car is so full of gizmos, seemed prudent to cover it beyond 4/50K. 2- Its our first Benz, and we have heard of bank account draining repair costs happening beyond the standard factory warranty.
