More than expected

2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class CLK430 2dr Cabriolet (4.3L 8cyl 5A)

We fully expected a good car. We got a great one. Its fun to drive, has a lot of "curb appeal" and, as an unexpected plus-gas milage is great. And we don't know how the top could be easier to operate. Overall it makes driving an adventure.

Sheer Delight

I traded a beloved BMW-540i for this car and have not had a moment's regret. I love the handling, tight chassis, ergomonics in the cabin, but most of all the smooth power the V-8 pours out on command. Everything is refined about this car, even in the way it delivers almost unlimited power.

This car is my first Mercedes -- I was checking into purchasing an SLK and was told of the waiting list.... I was about to leave the dealership when I noticed that a new car had been wheeled into the showroom. I liked the way it looked, test drove it and bought it a few minutes later. It has sufficient acceleration at highway speeds, it has style, and it is easy to drive. After spending a year driving this car daily, my wife's Lexus feels like a collection of parts travelling in roughly the same direction.

This car was a huge surprise for me. I went with a friend to get another model, and I came out with an MB and my friend didn't. Awesome power, comfortable ride, amazing looks, and just a sweet ride all around.

this machine is absolute fun to drive and sometimes you regret getting to your destination because the ride has to end.... Grantet you could get some good deals for $55,000 and people at Mercedes could try a little harder to be professional especially in the parts department.

This is a Superior vehicle. It has the acceleration of a Porsche or Corvette, while still meeting the luxurious comfort that has long been associated with Mercedes Benz.

Great car with some quirks

After 3 months the rear sunshade and AC display had to be replaced. Nothing major in my opinion. The car is has a high head turning quotient and handles flawlessly and predictably. The V6 engine's rumble has more than enough pick up to justify $9K less than the V8.
