2002 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class CL600 2dr Coupe (5.8L 12cyl 5A)
Worst Mercedes I ever owned, nonstop problems keep coming, I've been to 5 Mercedes specialist all the mechanics told me to get rid of this car asap, because too many on this model of car, it's not worth to fix, that's why used one is much cheaper than cl55!
Mine is in the shop for the 2nd time in 6 months.
First does not count.
Bought at auction sight unseen for under 10k.
Needed ABC pump and brakes. $2000 for all that from local, independent certified MB mechanic.
Now the engine wiring harness and the defective oil pressure sender are being replaced as well a MB fixes to front turn signals (new harnesses) and cam cover oil drains mods.
These all were design defects. When that is done, should be good.
Car is a dream to drive.
Gets 25 on the road with good power.
Fantastic sound system.
Does have its electrical gremlins.
Must keep a big battery fully charged or they get out!
