You are in a great position. Post some details on your car over at the REAL WORLD TRADE IN VALUES thread here on Town Hall. Your low mileage Mercedes might be worth more than the lease end residual. If it is, negotiate your lease on the BMW, then trade in the MB like you own it. The dealer will send a check to MBFS, and you'll hopefully have some left over ... Read More

Or, they didn't have anything we liked and really weren't all that interested in finding something we'd want. Over the last 5-7 years, we had looked at an A4, and an A6. But, neither hit ... Considering the 2013 models are out, it's a pretty terrible price on a *used* car. Whatever they want to call it, it's used. Cars Direct has a 2012 C250 with 0 miles on it (new) for $1000 more locally. IMO, the difference between the C250 and C300 is essentially nothing worth getting excited over. Nada says that car is worth: 26,400 - 28,250 - 32,200 Dealer paid for it (wholesale): ~$24000. ... Read More

To say that one manufacturer is better than another because of the current lease terms or current incentives is not right. Every manufacturer in this segment has some kind of different incentive every month to move metal. We all know how they do it. BMW subsidizes their leases with high residual values. Meaning, the money factor plus residual plus cap cost plus term all result in the two monthly figures ($380 and $417 respectively) so their math is good. 2) Lease acquisition fee of $995 probably includes $200 profit for the dealer, but then again your Doc fee is ... 2012 redesigned C-Class will be released in about 6 months! Huge improvements! My advice: if you can wait, don't buy 2011 model, unless you can get super cheap deal. If you want to lease - don't lease for more than 2years or 27 months. Read this article: 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class upcoming changes: SNEAK PEEK, so you can understand why...

I will mention, though, that the new CTS is worlds better than anything Mazda makes. It's positioned in Europe as a BMW 5 series competitor at a lot less money. My parents just went through this exact same scenario. And had it down to the same models are you are looking at. And the CTS just simply was a superior product to the Infiniti. You're very welcome ckung. I personally have leased Mercedes vehicles in the past and haven't found MB Financial to be unreasonable when evaluating the end-of-term condition of vehicles. I definitely would not get the $850 wear and tear coverage if I was leasing one. While some Mercedes dealers certainly mark up MB Finance's $795 base acquisition fee, I wouldn't say that all dealers do. I really don't think that the mark ... Read More

Unfortunately, new MBF financial October programs became worse than they were in September, in regards to C-Class. Both lease and financing. The reason is MB built new factory plants in South Africa (out of all countries) to boost C-Class production. After workers went on the usual strike, C-Class production got frozen. SoCal dealers usually carry 70-120 C-Classes in stock, but now they have only 10-15. So don't expect to get bottom ... Read More

Yup, the residual factor is 71% (28,656/40,360). However, the money factor is not zero. The money factor is about... (369 - 37,149 / 27 + 28,656 / 27) / (37,149 + 28,656) = 0.00082736... Because dollar amounts are likely rounded, it's a fairly safe bet that the actual money factor is 0.00083 (same for the sport sedan). Also, note the following from the Ad... MSRP = 40,360 Selling price = 38,626 ... Read More
