I salute Mercedes-Benz with the debut of this supercharged engine in this car. I used to have the older version of the C-Class with the old engine, and it was a slow poke. The car feals very solid, very well made. I usually drive the car in "Wet" mode, which gives you a much smoother, quiete ride. I put it into Sport mode when the kids and wife are at home to have a little fun on the way to work. I always arrive with a big smile on my face.
Gobs of power. Eat a Porsche for dinner and still leave room for dessert.
Fuel economy slips if you push it hard (but that happens in all other cars, too). Second, reviews say the engine is a bit loud, but I actually enjoy hearing the well bred horses under the engine. Still, the car is much quieter in "wet" mode, and noise dissipates once you ar on the highway.
