1997 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C280 4dr Sedan

Review

Had a few minor defects at the beginning but the real problem has been long term reliability. Left me stranded twice between 52,000 and 58,000 miles-once for a failed air mass sensor and intake flapper valve and second for a bad fuel pressure regulator.

Favorite Features

Handling, styling, good performance but the whole ownership experience was tainted by problems that never should have happened.

Suggested Improvements

Get some new suppliers who can build a component that will last!!! The drivers side mirror fell out several times, center console latch never has worked right, cup holder gave up after about a year, plus the major problems listed above.
