1991 Mercedes-Benz 350-Class 350SDL Turbodiesel 4dr Sedan
For pure comfort, stability, quality of
construction, economy and reliability -
- and residual value -- there may not
have been a better car manufactured
with a sticker price of under $100,000.
Okay, so it's a diesel and slow getting
away at the light, but tenacious in
snow and ice -- and safe. Bought it
new; expect it to outlive me.
Size:interior, with lots of leg room
for passengers in the rear seats; trunk
can take five maybe six loaded golf
Maintenance: doesn't take much.
Fuel economy: Maybe heaviest stock
sedan on the road, gets 26 MPG
Instrument panel lights need to be back-
lit; one, please, just one cup holder;
otherwise, as is, okay.
