I have a 03 with a 2.8 V6 and with a moderate load on vacation my last recorded MPG going into Ks was 30.5 (with a tail wind) coming back to Az going from denver to grand junction (thru the rocky mountains) I avg. 28 MPG. We like the hybrid Tribute Grand Touring because it has all the options on it you could want including navigation and roof venting . The Mazda hybrid Tribute is much nicer than the Escape hybrid or the hybrid Mariner in terms of interior appointments. I purchased a 2006 MAZDA TRIBUTE I on Dec 2006. It is a 4 DR., 2.3L L4 PFI DOHC 16V / 4 WHEEL DRIVE. I live at Nebraska and the temp in Jan and Feb 2007 is about -10F to 10F. The standard MPG is 21/24 for city/highway, however, my city/highway MPG is only about 14.x/16.x using #87 gas and current odometer reader is 2000 miles. 19,975 is about 7400 off msrp, provided no big fees or anything. I've seen numerous dealer ads on motoralley.com advertising 6500-7200 off, so you are on the high range (of $ off, which is good.) Trouble is, these discounts will probably be reflected in the blue book values next year, so you still may want to hit about 10 dealers by email fax eom to see if it can be beat ... Read More...
