2004 Mazda Tribute SUV ES-V6 4WD 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I felt like this was far and away the
best small sport ute for the money and
have not been dissappointed. It's
very comfortable (in both the front
and rear seats, even on long trips)and
has good acceleration.

Best Features

Comfortable, good acceleration, and looks good.

Worst Features

mediocre fuel economy

2004 Mazda Tribute SUV LX-V6 Fwd 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Just got back from DisneyWorld. Loved
the way my new Tribute handles. Smooth
driving. Turning in lease for a
Montana, glad it's going back. If your
looking for a great dealership in South
Florida, go to Gunther Mazada and see
Jim Collins. He is the best! They
clearly like to give the best deal!

Best Features

Everything!

Worst Features

I'll let you know.

2004 Mazda Tribute SUV LX-V6 4WD 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

The Tribute drives well but it is an
absolute guzzler. The sticker says
18/23 but it is more like 14/17.

When you add in the fact that I only
use 89 or 93 Octane gas, and ONLY
purchase from a big name gas station
such as Mobil or Amoco, I can only
guess that the numbers on the Sticker
would be reached if you drive in a
place called Fantasy Land.

Those people at Mazda must have been
drinking something when they came up
with that inflateable and untrue gas
mileage number for their sticker. If I
knew the real deal I would have
purchased a different SUV.

Best Features

It does drive nicely.

Worst Features

Be honest with the public as far as the predicted gas mileage.

2004 Mazda Tribute SUV LX-V6 4WD 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I've had the Tribute for six months and
really enjoy it. It performed great in
the MN winter weather, and offers a lot
of amenities compared to other vehicles
in it's class that I researched or have
owned.

Best Features

Sporty performance sportscar "feel", seating and cargo capacity, refined styling

Worst Features

Bumper step for when tying off loads on the roof rack, ignition key area light (at night it's tough to find the keyhole).

2004 Mazda Tribute SUV LX-V6 Fwd 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

The best way to show the value you get
with the Mazda Tribute is to compare it
to another. I bought the Tribute and a
co-worker bought a Toyota RAV4
recently. We paid nearly the same for
our vehicles. I got a powerful smooth
V6, ABS, towing package, side air bags,
flip up rear window, retractable cargo
cover, overhead opening rear door, more
room & comfort, & he got none of these.

Best Features

VALUE...I got what I wanted reasonably priced. Smooth, Powerful V6 Performance. Roomy interior with good ride comfort.

Worst Features

Add light on key to more easily find in dark. light cruise controls on steering wheel to see during night driving
