2002 Mazda Tribute ES-V6 4WD 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)
Nice platform for best looking SUV on
the market. Same mechanicals as the
Ford Escape, it is cosmetically
superior with softer features and
better exterior colors. For what we
wanted, the price is less for the
Mazda than the Ford. Actually, very
fun to drive for a SUV. Great
visibility and interior space for a
vehicle with such a small footprint.
Great in small parking lots.
Relatively inexpensive cutting edge
four wheel drive system. However, 4wd
not for extreme uses as no low gear.
Spring for the non-manual drivers
seat, which has much better comfort
than the Toyota Highlander's.
Floor shift automatic. Less wind and
road noise. Rear disc brakes. Homelink.
