The RX-8 is an extremely fun car to drive, with impeccable handling/cornering ability and a 9000 RPM redline. It's not quite as torquey as I would like, but that's not exactly what rotary motors are known for anyway. The only thing that would make this car better would be an additional 80 ft/lb of torque and 30 hp, nothing a turbo can't solve!
High RPM redline, short throw shifter, amazing sound system, low center of gravity and 50/50 weight distribution. All in all, a supreme example of an entry level sports car.
A turbo option would be nice, or maybe a 3-rotor version like the GT race car in the Rolex Sports Car Series! =)
