Fun car, but scared of snow flakes

2005 Mazda RX-8 Manual 4dr Coupe (1.3L 2rtr 6M)

Review

Great ride. A little slow off the line but rips above 5000 RPM's. Handling is amazing. The brakes are less than high-performance--very squeeky. (I've gone through 2 sets of rotors with only 26k). As far as snow goes, this thing starts slipping and sliding about 2 secs after the first flake hits the ground---garage it.

Favorite Features

Acceleration and handling are tops. Maybe two other cars in the price range can match or beat it.

Suggested Improvements

Work on the brakes and rotors. Come on, it's a sports car for crying out loud. You shouldn't be warping rotors after 10k. Despite 3 sets of break pads the squeek after about 4k.
