Shoulda been better!

Vehicle1996 Mazda Protege LX 4dr Sedan
ReviewWarranty work included changing both
front wheel bearings, a tape-cooking
radio with another one that did
likewise, and then the fun started.
Bearings went in the alternator, A/C
compressor, and the MAIN BEARINGS in
the engine! I'm kind of a geezer who
doesn't beat on cars by any stretch,
but this car should not have been
losing its bearings from birth.
Best FeaturesAte bumps like popcorn, held corners like a child hugs legs, an abundance of giddyup for a 4-door family unit.
Worst FeaturesBearings!!! And if a cassette player says right in the manual not to leave tapes in it because they'll fry, that unit isn't worth having at all. I actually read the book and STILL toasted my music! Mazda engineers: Figure out how Honda does it and do that.
