Review
I have had this car for 11-1/2 years and it still drives like the day I brought it home. It currently has 171,000 miles on it and I have not had one problem with this car but until a few days ago i had to replace to clouch with all them miles it was worth it.You cannot find a better quality car of this age. And the gas mileage is still great with an average of about 34 mpg. Favorite Features: Handling. Engine. Gas mileage

The Power of Turbo
Vehicle
1991 Mazda MX-6 2 Dr LX Coupe
Review
I have owned many cars. HAving been in the Marines, I have driven many too. However, I have kept my GT Turbo since day one. You can feel the power of the turbo as it kicks in. It feels like much more than 145 horses.
Favorite Features
The turbo was a definate keeper.
Suggested Improvements
The tires could've been larger.
My first car

This was my first car and I still drive it. It's now a bad car but it has so many problems. The support that holds the muffler broke my brakes suck, they lock up when it rains and it leaks a little oil.
Favorite Features
I love the way it handles though. I can take corners very smoothly. It's not bad.

1988 Mazda MX-6GT Owned since new
Vehicle
1991 Mazda MX-6 2 Dr GT Turbo Coupe
Review
I bought my 1988 MX6-GT new in Dec 1987. The Celica and Prelude were its competition. I bought the Mazda because it had more features and performance for the money. The car has phenomenal performance, it certainly feels like it put outs much more than its 140 HP/190 Ft-pounds torque ratings. The car was driven in Korea during 1988-1992 (I'm in the Air Force) and sat in storage for another three years (1995-1998) during another overseas assignment. Nearly four years ago I decided to sink some money in it instead of buying a new car. I installed an upgraded exhaust, 17 inch wheels and tires, sport shocks/struts, Eibach lowering springs, sheepskins, and a Momo steering wheel.
Favorite Features
It car handles great, chirps the tires on shifts to third gear. The car is tight. The engine doesn't sing at high RPMs like the Celica or Preludes, but it makes gobs of power! Great handling with my tire/wheel/spring set-up. I get 29 MPG on the highway and 24-25 on my seven mile commute to work.
Suggested Improvements
Occational check engine light. Exhaust manifold leak; repl exhaust manifold stud. Minor oil leak; repl oil pressure sensor. Alarm went bad; repl with a Clifford alarm. CD player went bad; repl with Kenwood indash CD/Cassette, Sony amplifier, Bazooka woofer, & MBQuart speakers.

The MX-6 is my first car. It's been great since I bought it. My only complaints are brakes that lock up to quickly in the rain and a rubbery feeling shifter. It has a very peppy engine, although harsh, and gets great gas mileage.

My first sport car
Vehicle
1991 Mazda MX-6 2 Dr GT Turbo Coupe
Review
I was so amazed with this car's performance. You can really feel the power when the turbo kicks in. The ride is quite smooth and the sport suspension makes for very good handing. The bucket seats give it that added sporty feel. For a car that is 11 years old, you wouldn't believe it's reliabilty. It's got 110 000 kms and I haven't encountered any engine problems. I'm a police officer and this car definately beats out our Crowns and Impala's in acceleration.
Favorite Features
Vehicule perfomance: acceleration, handling, suspension. Exteriour look.
Suggested Improvements
The interior look could be improved. Small problems with wiper moter, electric windows, car door locks... nothing you wouldn't expect from a ten year old car.
