2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring 2dr Convertible w/Power Hard Top (2.0L 4cyl 6M)
Bought the car in late February in Michigan-couldn't really drive it until late March. It was torture to wait! I found out how great it handled from having to dodge all the potholes in the roads coming off of a hard winter. After years with a boring automatic, I can finally shift! Downshifting is one of my favorite things to do while in this car. I bought the dark gray hardtop. I didn't need a showier color such as red. That would've been overkill. The car alone says it all. It is understated yet boisterous. I'm driving to West Virginia in a week and can't wait to get on those winding mountain roads and see just what it can do.
The PRHT, the British sportscar styling, 6-speed, tight handling, the chrome accessories (i.e., fuel filler door) against the gray paint, the fact that it's JUST SO CUTE!
Relocate console cupholder, interior is a bit on the chintzy-looking side - a more expensive looking trim would be great. Wanted the ice blue special edition with dark brown interior but it's not made in a hardtop - should have made it in a hardtop, probably would have sold a ton.
