2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata Touring 2dr Convertible w/Power Hard Top (2.0L 4cyl 6A)
In '01 I bought a new VW cabrio. It was so bad it brought tears to my eyes. Got rid of it 3 yrs later. The Miata is SO good it was almost worth going thru the pain. The sheer joy of driving this car simply cannot be described... it must be experienced. Talking about brakes, engine, etc., doesn't do justice to this car. The first time you drive it alone, with the radio off and just cruising for the stake of enjoyment is when it hits you. It's not a car, it becomes a part of you. I'm 55 and love Subarus, but getting this as a toy car changed my feelings towards Mazda. The Mx-5 is the best balance of a sports car you'll ever find. (Plus I'm getting 32 mpg while having fun too!)
How well the overall ergonomic are. No fancy gimmicks, nothing to distract the driver. Everything where it should be. Love the HID low beams.
Another 1/2" wider. A little softer ride, (not much), a little more horsepower ~10 and HID hi beams.
