Went from a 1991 Miata to this. BIG upgrade. A tiny bit more sterile than the jittery, vibrating 1991, but better in every way. Enough power, extremely well balanced yet controlled. Turns commutes into an enjoyable experience.
Very easy to use top. Glass/defrost rear window. Engine, still rev-happy and a bit gruff (this is a roadster). The dual exhaust balances out the rear of the car. The 17" wheels fit the car nicely. This thing stayed as true to form as possible.
Suspension is a bit soft, even though I have the sport suspension with the billstein shocks. I will swap out for some stiffer mazdaspeed springs. CD player does not play MP3 CDs, UNREAL. The stark interior leaves a little to be desired. The shiny black dash piece easily scratches and looks odd.
