1996 Mazda MX-5 Miata 2dr Convertible

We got my wife's "dream car" with only 9000 miles on it. One block into the test drive told us this car is a blast to drive. It just scoots. The handling is unbelievable for a car that is not expensive. She drives it to work with a smile that has not left her face in four years. We relish summer here in the Northwest and this car just makes it all the more pleasurable.

Best Features

Handling makes this car seem like a big kid's toy. Great gas mileage. The joy of the top down. The look others give you because you are having fun. Zero repair costs so far (except for the rear window which became very scratched).

Worst Features

I am tall and slender. The seats are too hard for very long drives. The tiny trunk doesn't hold much, but who really cares. We had to replace our plastic rear window. Mazda solved that problem in later models with a glass rear window.
