I'm not going to call you stange st-moyer. I use to be the same way(no...not strange) , frugal with my purchases.It is a smart approach though. I had a 1979 Olds Cutlass Supreme I bought used(was in excellent condition)in 1990(roughly) for $1,500. Sold it 7 years later for $800. Had almost no problems. JSchmiidt at post 1216. I traded my 1996 Plymouth Voyager standard wheelbase in on the MPV 6 months ago. I normally keep a car for ten years, buying new every 5 years.
