2001 Mazda Millenia Premium 4dr Sedan (2.5L 6cyl 4A)
Quite possibly the most enjoyable car, overall, I have driven in 30 years. For starters, my all-black car is beautiful, with sleek and subtle lines, perfect wheels and low, wide tires. It's quiet and happy on highways, handles great on curves. Interior is tasteful, functional, virtually flawless. I'd like maybe a bit more lumbar support in adjustable driver's side. Enthusiasts might find the center hump interferes with spirited driving. My elbow hits it regularly. All-in-all, truly classic and classy. Wish they'd bring it back! My dad recently leased an '05 Mercedes E320 and is so overwhelmed with the superfluous technology that he'd rather trade with me! Seriously!
Styling, quiet ride, smooth power.
Lower the center storage hump which interferes with right elbow. Improve lumbar support on driver's side. Transmission searches around for a gear sometimes at low speeds. Rear headroom especially marginal. My 5'5" daughter says she can't sit up straight.
