My wife bought our 1999 Mazda Millenia
in 2001 used for $16,500 before we
were married. The trans. had to
be replaced at 60K miles, and we
continue to be disappointed with the
way the thing takes off. The
trans. is so extremely jerky.
Starting off in first gear even the
slightest touch of the gas pedal sends
it screaming forward. Especially in
traffic when it's stop and go. There
is absolutely no easing forward with
this trans. Another problem I
have with this car is the leg-room.
We drive from TN to LA several times a
year to visit family, and my knees are
in my chest all the time it seems.
I'm only 6' by the way.
