2010 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 Sport 4dr Hatchback (2.3L 4cyl Turbo 6M)
Best deal going for the $! Paid $21,900 w/Toyota owner loyalty rebate. Didn't get the tech package but the audio w/std system is great! Single CD is annoying, but BT is awesome. Has built in MP3 plug w/power in center console. Impressed with std opts (dual zone auto A/C, info center w/trip computer, steering wheel cntrls, stainless steel ft pdls). Car is FAST but well behaved on the roads. The turbo kicks in smoothly w/no lag. Downshifts on the highway N/A for passing. Just step on the gas & let the turbo work for you! Tires are VERY loud on the road but grip well in rain. Lights work well at night w/fog opt. Econ-75 mph=27-32 mpg depending upon gradient. Sports car, folks! Not a luxury car.
You get a lot for the $! I'm 6'4 & have no issues w/seats/head room. Enough rm in back for kids but adults will be tight! Favs: amazing opts for $, turbo, wheel design and exterior shape, fuel economy (low 20's city, 30+ hwy). Dash layout well planned. Info center/cntrls easy to use while driving.
I like being in touch w/the road but sometimes the tire noise gets to be too much! No temp gauge, 6 CD std vs opt, all leather seats vs. combo cloth/leather, AWD option or make it std! Don't add weight w/panoramic glass. It's a sports car! Include clutch sys in warranty - not all of us race!
