2003 Mazda Mazdaspeed Protege Sedan New 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 5M)

Review

I am having a great time driving this car! It really handles great and it is fast enough to be fun. A friend has a WRX STI and he was amazed at how well the Mazdaspeed handles. Although I can't beat him in a drag race you would be surprised how close it is. Great radio/mp3/cd player.

Review

If you want fun, if you want excitment and if you want to be able to smoke the copmeptition on a daily basis, this car hits the sopt. I have had my car for 2 months now (last one on the lot) and I cant get enough. I find reasons to drive my car. The power is exceptional, the ride is just what you would expect and the control I have of the vehicle is close to nothing I have ever driven. Go Mazda for their ingenious design of tis car! This car is hot! Only problem is 2nd turbo already installed and 3 allignments already. Mazda needs to make all Mazda dealers certified to work on this car.

2003 Mazda Mazdaspeed Protege Sedan New 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 5M)

Review

This car is an excellent spring, summer and fall car. This car is horrible in the snow and ice (this is mainly due to the tires that Mazda has ellected to put on, Bridgestone Potenza). The only other problem is the stereo system. Kenwood makes the system and they have been having many problems with the "amplifier/subwoofer" box that is in the trunk. Twice in 8500 miles I've had it replaced. The sticker price for these are right at 20,500 but don't pay it. I got mine for a few thousand less.

Best Features

The handling of the car is absolutely awsome.

Worst Features

Putting Michelin Pilot Alpin tires and adding a 6th gear to the gear box

2003 Mazda Mazdaspeed Protege Sedan New 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 5M)

Review

This car is everything I wanted. Turbo, 17" wheels, tight suspension, 450 watt mp3 stereo, and oh ya the chicks dig it! Very reasonable price sold me on this car, compared to WRX and TSX I chose this one because of price, fun factor, reliability, and to get away from mainstream cars seen everyday on the roads. Bang for buck is huge, especially compared to european cars. Have not had any problems.

Best Features

TURBO, wheels, suspension, stereo, (it had everything I wanted with warrenty!) Head turning factor, and the chicks of course. There is only about 5000 MSP in North America.

Worst Features

Turbo timer, boost gauge, new rear bushings (upgraded bushing are covered under warrenty, part 156E, and they work), always more power but I can still have fun the way it is.
