2004 Mazda Mazdaspeed MX-5 Miata 2dr Roadster (1.8 4cyl Turbo 6M)

After two years in a 99 Miata, I traded up to the new tubo Mazdaspeed. With a slightly stiffer ride, the overall driving experiece is markedly improved. Accelleration, of course, and handling is much improved, along with the super Bose stereo system which increases volume with faster speed. My only complaint is that it requires premium fuel, but that only equates to about two dollars extra per tank. Worth it. Im getting 26 mpg highway mileage, if I go easy on the pedal. There is no better bang for the buck in sports cars, period.

Best Features

speed, looks, tires, stereo and braking, and handling.

Worst Features

Two improvements come to mind. One, I would have cruise control for longer rides. The right leg gets cramped after two hours on the highway. Second, I would route the intake away from the hot water hose which keeps intake air too hot. Randall intake fits.
