I have the 2010 Mazda 6 touring plus for about 17 months. I have 15k miles on the car and so far the car has been great. The only complaint I have is that the bluetooth on the receiver's end (people have complained to me) is raspy at times. I have 'not' brought the car to the dealer for the bluetooth, but will when I have the time.
Great post. I felt the same way when I got mine. Today, after 1 year and 10 months, my 2010 Mazda 6i GT is as tight and economical as ever. Still learning all the features.
"Picked up a lightly used (2 years, under 13k miles) 2009 Mazda 6 s GT w/ Nav + Bose + moon roof. Black/black. Got it out the door for $20k (cash) w/ 7% sales tax (so I guess around $18,250 + tax + title/reg)." Edmunds TMV is $21,200 Private Party and $23,400 Dealer Retail. KBB puts the Private Party value at $22,675 and Dealer Retail at over $25k. So I'd say ... Read More
After reading other issues with Mazda6's... have they changed the 2010, 2011, or 2012 enough to avoid buying a bad car??? My 2007 Chrysler Pacifica just ate itself and I have 12 more payments... due to oil consumption problems that occurred between the 60-65K oil change... they know it's a lemon. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/driveon/post/2011/03/spider-infestation-- recall-web-mazda6-mazda/1 The recall of 2009 and 2010 Mazda6s is due to "a certain type of spider" that "may weave a web in the evaporative canister vent line and this may cause a restriction in the line," the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says on its website. Another 13,000 of the cars sold in Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico are also being recalled.

If your sales figures are correct, it looks like Mazda failed with this redesign. The 2008 Camry sales were 436,617, so 2010 was down 25%, while the Mazda6 is down 32% from their 2008 sales. If your 2009 Camry Hybrid is leased, how do you intend to use it as a trade-in? Technically, you don't own the car and have no equity in the vehicle. I second this. The Altima and Mazda6 are the most sporty, from my research and experience. Even though the Fusion/Milan are basically the same car as the 6, they are tuned slightly differently, if I understand correctly. Most reviewers say the Altima is just a *little* bit more sporty than the Mazda6, as well as slightly more fuel efficient (probably due to the CVT). But many other reviewers didn't like the ... When I bought my Mazda6 in '04 it seemed to be perfect in every way compared to the competition, but since then it's been flat-out blown away by new products from Honda, Nissan, Saturn, and Chevy. If the '09 is true to Mazda's word, and still retains the excellent handling and control of the first-gen, as well as the added space, power, and features that the competition offers, they'll get a ... There will be no mtx in the V6, for 2009 anyway. I have a funny feeling it will have one in 2010. As for a Mazdaspeed version, don't count on it. I read from a press release from Mazda's main web site in Japan, and there are no plans for another Mazdaspeed6. With the 09 Mazda6 having the most powerful V6 in its class (270hp+ according to Mazda announced at the ... Read More
The pictures of the interior I saw from the up close spy photos, which looked identical to the JDM/euro Mazda6, with the exception of the steering wheel. The steering wheel seems to be taken from the CX-9. I have not seen official photos yet, however, I'm sure I will get them soon before the rest of you. As for no mtx in the V6, for MY2009, Mazda will not offer it. ... Read More

Evidently, some people need to be reminded that the 5-door and wagon was NOT introduced when the Mazda6 was first introduced here in NA in 2003, but for the following year. Who knows? Mazda may be doing the same thing for the second-gen, with a release of the 5-door and wagon for 2010...
That's the only image I saw of 2010 Mazda3. Sorry for off-topic http://dikarockz.blogspot.com/2007/12/hot-news-2010-mazda-3.html
Let's all hope we can soon see the US version of the 09 6. Has anybody heard if they will show in Detroit or Chicago at the shows> Also, I see that many have been discussing the 2010 3...here it is. Hope you like it as much as I... ppellico http://dikarockz.blogspot.com/2007/12/hot-news-2010-mazda-3.html
and that 'hatred' might be a little strong. I have 2 big problems with Ford - 1) the historical fact that they have no ability to make a good smaller engine and 2) their current policies literally paying quite a number (thousands and thousands) of their employees not to work, the economic impact of which is, I guess, yet to be determined although I feel confident in saying that the upper ...
