2009 Mazda6

Re: [trobson]

Used up-market, less warranty, higher repair costs, higher insurance, higher TCO. Significant issues, ones that 'define' class as much as anything. A 2007 Certified Infiniti G35 with 25k miles comes with a better warranty than a new Mazda6. :) Mazda warranty: Mazda warrants that new 2007 and 2008 Mazda cars and trucks will be free of defects with normal use ... Re: Wow, I was more right than I thought I was (deja vu) [m6user]

Depends on how you shop. If you're a segment-only, new only shopper, then no, the options outside of the Mazda6, Camry, Altima and Accord rarely come up. I tend to shop based on size, performance, usability and price. Segment is meaningless to me; as is new or used. For 20-30k I see a variety that many 6 buyers will never entertain. If one is willing to blow 28k on a ... Read More...

jfritsch I test drove a 2008 Mazda 6 Sport Value edition today and they quoted a price of 16500+TTL. That will be 17.5 OTD. The dealership also has 2007 Models still lying (Not sold since the past 2 years! Brand new). What is the best price for brand new 2007 model sport and brand new 2007 Value edition - 4 cylinder versions you think I should pay Also After test driving, ... Read More...

Mazda sales in Europe up

LEVERKUSEN – August 18, 2008: So far this year, Mazda has seen booming sales as the popularity of its first and second-generation Zoom-Zoom vehicles continues to grow across Europe. Last month, Mazda sold 27,700 vehicles, which is up 28 percent compared to July 2007 and the best volume in 17 years. Maybe it's the Euro 09 Mazda6???? Read More...

Re: Mazda6 revs [captain2]

The new Mazda6 is a "big boys" car. The vehicle itself is a more then capable alternative to the Altima / Accord / Camry. The build quality is simply fantastic, and choice materials are simply better then the Camry and Altima. The interior is far more user friendly then the Accord. The Mazda6 is also far more refined then the previous model. With more power and better ... Read More...

Re: 2009 Mazda 6 [leowin]

The earlier Mazda3's (04-06) had A/C issues. For 2007 that was fixed. I have a 2005 Mazda6, and the A/C is very very cold. I have also driven the 2009 a lot as well, and it's been quite hot out, and the A/C has worked just fine. Read More...

Re: Hyundai up Sonata rebate [moocow1]

Resale will not go up as long as they continue to sell new for thousands less then the top dogs. If you get a new Sonata for $16,000, and it suffers the industry average 20% deprecation in its first year, you are looking at a car worth $12,800 after year one, when it had a window sticker of around $20,000. Almost 50% value gone from MSRP. That's not too good. Mazda has ... Read More...

Re: Pics of 6 I4 in CA parking [aviboy97]

There is your mistake. Dealers have not been able to order Mazda6 5-doors since January, which equates to dealer inventory in March. If you are seeing 30% 5-doors in inventory, that means those cars have been sitting for at least 90 days. Allocations in January were also very minimal, so, in reality, most of those cars were ordered in 2007. Average turn around ... Read More...

My observation was that on any given Sunday afternoon when I checked my local dealer (I'm in the southwest), about 20-30% were 5-doors. There is your mistake. Re: I will say this though [maxamillion1]

Yes, for 2008 both "i" and "s" models were only automatics for the GT trim. In 2007, that was not the case. I was told by Mazda that this was the case to supply more 5-speed manuals for the lower trims and the Mazda3's. I will agree with you about the FE on the I4/MTX since that is what interests me too. If I were in the market for a 2009 Mazda6, I would choose the Mazda6 i Touring ... Read More...
