Mazda6 Lease Questions

Re: Thinking about leasing a M6 Sport Value Edition [teach42]

Hi teach42. Mazda's current lease program for the Mazda6 isn't bad. Like most manufacturers' advertised lease payments, I suspect that it leaves a little meat on the bone so to speak. The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable and chances are that Mazda is not advertising a rock bottom price on this car. If it did, its dealers would be pretty annoyed. ... Read More...

Re: 2006 Mazda 6 S for $17,500 [saabski]

In September I bought a 2006 6S version with the manual transmission, cloth interior, and no options. I paid 17,800 with destination and fees, and not tax. That was 3,500 in incentives at the time, plus was $500 below invoice. I am guesstimating that the automatic would add about $800 to $900 to the invoice. So that would have been $18,600. Say that included about ... Read More...

2007 Mazda6 S GT Steering Pull

I just purchased a 2007 Mazda 6 S Grand Touring with 18 inch wheels. While I was driving it home from the dealer I could feel the car pulling to the right and to the left at times. Also, twice while I was rolling to a stop on a side road the wheel jerked to the right as the car stopped. I went back and asked the dealership about this and asked them to make sure it was aligned ... Read More...

Re: Interior Comfort of the Mazda 6?? [redsfan1]

Well, different people will have different feelings about what is comfortable, but... Based on test drives, I think the Mazda6 seats are very comfortable in 2006 or 2007 models. If you think the new ones are hard, you should sit in a 2005...now those were too hard for me. I am not a fan of too soft seats. Fusion also has seat that seems very comfortable to me...again ... Best deal on a mid-sized sedan?

Perhaps the best deal on a quality mid-sized sedan right now is the Mazda6. I heard a radio ad today from a dealer in my town (Walser Mazda, no-haggle dealership) that offered $3000 off every 2007 Mazda6, and $1000 more off if you use Mazda financing. $4000 off even the lower-priced Mazda6i is pretty hard to beat right now, given that rebates have slacked off on the ... 2007 Mazda6 is Edmunds Most Wanted

2007 Edmunds Most Wanted Sedan Under $25,000 is the Mazda6! I think that finally settles which one of these sedans is best Just kidding all, just kidding... Makes me feel good about getting my Mazda 6s three weeks ago though :) It really is a great car. I agree with the earlier comment about the Fusion's poor safety showing. Someone high up in Ford should lose their ... Read More...

Bias at Consumer Reports?

Car and Driver is a magazine. They take advertising and therefore they can't be completely objective, or can they? My beef is with that Paragon of Objectivity, Consumer Reports. They have their heads so far up Honda and Toyotas keester that they have ring around the collar. Case in point. New Models come out and there is no real data to report reliability. In the ... Re: 2007 Mazda 6 s-Grand Touring Wagon [stephanekoenig]

Greetings Steph. Let me begin by saying that $4,000 is way to much money to put down when leasing. I always advise consumers not to make any sort of down payment on leased vehicles. I do so because if their leased vehicle is totaled in an accident or stolen and never recovered, their down payment essentially disappears. You can and should lease this car' only having ... Re: 2007 vs 2006 [mazdamotoring]

Hi Bob, From me also, congratulations on the new car! Yes, I agree that what level car you get for the price right now, it falls into the "steal" category. The way I define it, it you get a good price it is a "deal". If you get a great price, it is a "steal". I just got the absolutely plain "S" version, manual v-6. As I recall, the invoice on it was $18,308 after the $3,500 ... Read More...
