2005 Mazda Mazda6 s Sport 4dr Hatchback (3.0L 6cyl 5M)
I've only had this car about 1 month. Actually my wife has had it so long. She picked it out because this car has so many sensible features inside a sporty exterior. It's fun to drive. It has the capacity of our Forester, but it looks good. The stereo and sun roof are sweet too.
Build quality; quality of finish. I compared a Chevy Malibu for the same price, and was sorely, utterly disappointed with the Chevy Malibu Maxx.
The shifter is noisy, and sounds a little cheap. I don't like to hear thunk thunk between gears. I'm starting to hear a little noise in the tranny. I will be taking that issue back to the dealer. The roof is a little close to the driver and passenger. One passenger hit her head on the pillar.
