2005 Mazda 6 Wagon s 4dr Sport Wagon (3.0L 6cyl 5M)

Review

I've had this car for a year, so far it is still a treat to drive. It's a great change from what is out there on the roads. For a family of four it's a great midsize value. My wife loves it and has been more than pleased with it. I'm impressed with Mazda, they've done a good job with this vehicle.

Best Features

Powertrain, interior and exterior features. A great looking car that is simple and too flashy.

Worst Features

Road noise a little too much on rough pavement, standard side airbags, back seats need a little more cushion and leg room.

2005 Mazda 6 Wagon s Grand Touring 4dr Sport Wagon (3.0L 6cyl 6A)

Review

It's not often that you can truly haul when hauling stuff. The Mazda6 Sport Wagon handles all situations well. It's quick to respond to driver inputs. And never loses it's cool even if the driver is over his head. The controls are all in easy reach, and logical to use. Mazda hasn't made driving a "chore" but a pleasure. Fit and finish have held up in the Arizona heat, and the automatic climate control is spot on.

Best Features

The clever cargo cover/cargo net device is great for those of us with animals to haul. But it's the overall layout of the controls that make this car a pleasure to drive.

Worst Features

An even higher performance model for the Sport Wagon, with all wheel drive would be fantastic. A better selection of colors. There are 3 silver colors, out of 8 colors.

2005 Mazda 6 Wagon s 4dr Sport Wagon (3.0L 6cyl 5M)

Review

This car is has by far exceeded all my expectations. When you have to choose a family mover and performance is one of your primary needs this is the best car by far. The Camrys are no doubt built better, gets better gas mileage and on and on but none of them make you wanna get in and drive every day. With the 5 speed manual and the V6 the fun to drive factor far exceeds its competitors in the fun to drive factor.

Best Features

The V6 engine nice size trunk and spacious back seat. The Bose audio system has to be the best I have very heard in a stock car and the complete absence of torque steer.

Worst Features

An engine that makes 20-30 more horsepower. The power is all hidden above 4000 rpm but after that this engine pulls all the way to redline.

Review

I haven't had the car for long, but I love it so far. Nice power, handling, ride. I've had two Mazdas in the past and loved them, so I can only hope this one works out as well as the others did!

Best Features

Steering wheel mounted controls, V6, looks, performance.

Worst Features

None I know of yet.

Review

Just got my 2005 Mazda 6 Sport wagon. I know why Mazda left out the word STATION in wagon. This car handles nothing like a station wagon, but rather a sports car with the space of a wagon. The comfort and quality for a loaded car with 6 speed automatic/leather/Bose sound/17 inch wheels/ remote starter/ and a sun-moon roof for under $35,000 CDN. Great Deal! Get One!

Best Features

Smooth automatic and that Bose sound system.

Worst Features

Passenger power seat and a programmable driver's seat would be great. I'm six feet and my wife is 5 ft 8. Constant fight to drive this beauty and having to change seating positions.
