2004 Mazda Mazda6 s 4dr Sports Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5M)
Great car, only thing every time I get an oil change, I get a horrible oil smell. I was told it's because of the oil filter being so close to the engine pipe. This definitely should been a recall, since I am a great advertisement when my car is smoking right after an oil change during the hot summer months. It does eventually burn off after around 25-50 miles of driving. Makes the garage smell great after an oil change.
Great styling, interior, and exterior, can use higher torque, only 198, with 220HP. Shows great, and with a little more HP., say 265, then Mazda would have a real winner. Have a Mazda 6SX, with the choice of using 87 octane.
Torque should be raised to around 250 and fix the oil change smell. All their new 4-cylinder turbos need at least 91 octane.
