So I took the plunge and trade it in my little Mazda5 for a 2007 Mazda CX-9...WOW!! what a difference. We needed more room and more cargo capacity and this thing is nicely loaded with leather, bluetooth, tri-climate control, etc... If it is 2007 Mazda5, the VIN can be checked against a Technical Service Bulletin for defective rear and (or) front bushings on the stabilizer bar as the rear might give the impression it is behind the passenger door on the left or right side. The 2006 was recalled twice due to an engine overheating issue related to the exhaust that could cause the engine to catch on fire I'm just paraphrasing what you are reposting in every thread, nothing else. We purchased two Mazda5's (2006 & 2007) because of the seating capacity (6) with support for two child seats. The 2006 was recalled twice due to an engine overheating issue related to the exhaust that could cause the engine to catch on fire. Thanks - I just went outside to my car to have a look. There is no SRS logo in the headliner, or in the plastic upright immediately beside the bottom of the 2nd row seats. Its very strange. Also - unlike the tag on the front seats (which have airbags inside them) there is nothing on the rear (2nd row seats). Do you have a Mazda5 ? Read More...

We have a 2007 Mazda5 Sport., according to the manual and trim level descriptions it has Front airbags and Side Curtain airbags (for rows 2 and 3).
