Vehicle2014 Mazda 3 i Grand Touring 4dr Hatchback (2.0L 4cyl 6A)
ReviewA great car overall for it's class.
You should definitely test drive one if you are considering a similar class car.
You'll be impressed.
Best FeaturesThe drive. It's refined, nimble and responsive. Less road noise than previous models. Much better braking systems and climate controls.
Worst FeaturesThe NAVIGATION is not TOMTOM as all the dealerships and service people claim. It's a NAVTEQ Denso system that has no free download like the previous TOMTOM systems. And if they do decide to upgrade a maps, it will cost you $199 US for the SD Card. I found this out after trying to download recent maps from the TOMTOM site as per the instructions of several Mazda dealerships. This might be a sticking point in the future for Mazda and owners of this vehicle who rely on the built-in navigational system. I've contacted Mazda USA on this issue and haven't heard back from them yet. MPG mixed is about 29.7 right now. About 3mpg less than advertised, but still braking it in so will see.

The SD card should be in the car when you buy it and located in the SD card slot next to the USB ports in the center armrest/storage compartment. If it isn't there, you need to talk to your dealership. Map upgrades are free for the first three years.Report it
