Review
Handsome. Fun. Tech. 3 words that sum up my new 3. I have had it for a week and the new car emotion hasn't subsided. The car simply looks good. It looks good at all angles. I have a snowflake pearl paint that looks good in the sun and somehow doesn't hide the nice lines of the fender across the body. I am your average commuter that doesn't necessarily have the luxury of a twisty commute but it is quite fun to steer the car. It gives me a good feel of the road. The infotainment center is awesome. It's pretty quick to pair your phone through BT or USB. There isn't a lag time at all when connecting. The commander control has a good feel. I find myself using it than steering controls.
Favorite Features
Looks and tech. The car looks premium and it has a lot of tech features. The infotainment system is really easy to use and the active driving display is useful. You can adjust the tilt of the ADD. The menus are intuitive and the text is nice and big. I am told that it is easily upgradable, hopefully IOS7 can be added on. The blind spot monitoring is cool to have. The sport paddles and/or sport mode transforms the car and its quite fun putting a little thought more thought into the driving experience than simply stepping on the gas. I feel confident zoom zooming off freeway on/off ramps and acceleration is more than adequate for the small car (compared to the 2.0L).
Suggested Improvements
Expensive. The car was Accord/Camry-ish mid level pricing. Although the car is smaller and fun to drive you sacrifice size for tech and performance. Annoyingly you are limited to using voice or the commander dial while the car is moving. Storage is limited. There isn't door storage space other than a bottle/cup holder. The CD player is kind of randomly at the bottom of center stack. Get rid of it and replace with a cubby hole. If you are still using CD's maybe that's a YOU problem. Can't comment on reliability since I just got it. So far, no rattles or strange noises.
