2005 Mazda 3 Sedan s 4dr Sedan (2.3L 4cyl 5M)

Review

I purchased this vehicle as an alternative to driving my 4x4 pick-up back and forth to work. I drove all the competition, none of which had the quality, price, power or handling of the Mazda 3s. I am most impressed with the handling of this car. It's a safety feature as much as a plus for having fun. The fit and finish is on par with some of the best cars on the market. The solidity of the body is the best in its class, period. I have never been in a small car that didn't feel like a small car until now. Everyone who rides in the vehicle, or drives it, comments on how quiet and solid it feels. The interior is also best in class. Only complaint, no electric trunk release on keyfob.

Favorite Features

Handling, mileage, comfort, quality.

Suggested Improvements

Electric remote trunk release on keyless entry keyfob.

2005 Mazda 3 Sedan s 4dr Sedan (2.3L 4cyl 5M)

Review

I had a 2000 Protege. I thought I loved that car until the first time I sat in my new 3. The handling is that of a European sports car. I have received many compliments. Fit and finish is excellent. I have never been happier with a vehicle purchase.

Favorite Features

Stereo, acceleration, turning radius.

Suggested Improvements

Trunk release on key fob.

2005 Mazda 3 Sedan s 4dr Sedan (2.3L 4cyl 5M)

Review

I bought this car after comparing it to multiple other cars, and I could not be happier that I went with the Mazda3.

Favorite Features

It is very fun to drive. It makes going for a drive in the country even more enjoyable, and with gas prices where they are, it won't break the bank.

Suggested Improvements

None.

Vehicle

2005 Mazda 3 Sedan s 4dr Sedan (2.3L 4cyl 5M)

Review

This is a great small sedan for the price. The mix of features, price, build quality and driving mannerisms far outpace anything else that's available in this class of automobile.

Favorite Features

Stereo controls on the steering wheel, styling, driving dynamics.

Suggested Improvements

The hinge of the glovebox leaves an awkward sized gap when open, i.e., smaller items in the glovebox may shift and fall into the crack when opened and become lodged, making closing the glovebox impossible without pulling the car over. Compatibility with iPod would be great.

2005 Mazda 3 Sedan SP23 Special Edition 4dr Sedan (2.3L 4cyl 5M)

Review

I've owned the car for ten months, so far a pleasant experience. Great value for the money. Definitely a set of snow tires in the winter solves any traction problems. This car is fun to drive.

Favorite Features

Style, heated leather seats, Bose speakers with sub-woofer, 17" rims, smooth manual transmission, lots of headroom.

Suggested Improvements

Trunk release on key fob, needs about 40 more horsepower.
