This is entry level?!
By Carl Coffee on
2004 Mazda 3 s 4dr Hatchback (2.3L 4cyl 5M)
I didn't actually buy this car yet, but
have been looking at it for several
days and like what I see so far.
Debating between this or a 2003
Protege5. The 3 has huge power increase
over the Pro5, but overall does not
handle as tightly. Very nice
acceleration in 1st gear, but 2nd seems
sluggish. Still a nice car, with great
styling for entry level economy car.
17" wheels, exterior styling is great,
seats are very comfortable, lots of
room for passengers and gear. overall a
great car that is fun to drive and
The dashboard is cheezy. I hate the
stereo layout and controls...it would
be impossible to ever replace the
stereo because of the size and shape.
Don't care much for the guage cluster.
