Re: Support for 2008s? [volfan3]
First, I'm not buying a used 2008. If I want to do that, they are going at auction for about $18,500. What auctions do you go to? I cannot touch a 2007 GT AWD for under $22,000 at the auctions. I have been to 6 auctions from New York to Florida. Mazda wants $24,000 +++ for off lease CX-9's. $18,500 is a pipe dream my friend..... Second, I know from this thread that the car ... Read More...

Re: Support for 2008s? [volfan3]
volfan, The last I saw for incentives on 2008s was for June. They were 2008 Mazda CX-9 $6,250 Customer Rebate or 0.0% APR for up to 60 MONTHS + $2,000 Customer Cash Rebate OR 1.9% APR for up to 72 MONTHS + $2,000 Customer Rebate Cash Haven't seen anything for July. I would think you could get a great deal. I bought my 2008 Sport in April and got $12,500 off sticker (= 40% ... Read More...
Support for 2008s?
Does anyone know what incentives/support Mazda is giving for new 2008 models? My dealer has several '08 CX-9s, including one optioned the way we like. From searching the forum and other sources, I can't find any published information for 2008s. The last I saw was $5,250 in dealer cash on them back in April or so. I imagine with 2010s on their way soon, they have to ... Read More...

Re: Trailer hitch? [ceric]
Hi Ceric, If I have a 2008 AWD CX9, and I get the tow added at the dealer, is this an after market hitch and hence, 3" below the bumper? Mazda dealer says he can install the hitch and have it covered by Mazda. Does this mean his will be through the bumper or below it? I can presume it is after market and hence below the bumper? thanks zippy Read More...

Re: Online website to order Mazda navigation DVDs [navguy1]
That website has been under construction for a while now. Glad that it is back on line. As expected, for 2007-2008, the new version is "F" with 2008.1 map. For 2009-2010, the new version is "B", also with 2008.1 map. If you buy a 2009 CX9 today, you may still get the "A" version. Talk to your dealer about this before signing on the dotted line. :) Read More...
Re: Is there a fix for navigation system? [ntermini]
Hold on. The "E" version of GP9A is for 2007 to 2008, not for 2009. I would advise you not to try it. The 2009 NAVI system is different from 2007-08 version. The disc is not compatible. AFAIK. Check with your dealer to see if I am correct. Source of my reasoning.... http://www.mazdaparts.org/mazda-navigation-disk.html See that in the pulldown menu, there is no ... Read More...

Where to find workshop manual
Hi, I purchased a 2008 CX9. I like to tinker with the repairs myself. I wanted to purchase the workshop manual. But I had been trying to buy the workshop manual for 6 months now. It is driving me crazy. I called three local dealerships. Six months ago, they said to came over to their parts department. When I went, they said they don't have it and will try to get it for me. ... Read More...

Re: DVD Update [my3rdrx]
I hope you get your new map DVD. However, assuming that your 09 CX9 was made at the end of 2008, it is not unusual to have 1-year old DVD on NAVI system. I have NAVI on 3 vehicles I have owned, it has been that way for all three. (1 Honda, 1 Toyota, 1 Mazda) I am impressed by Mazda corporate service. The fact that they actually "apologize" to you.... :D Read More...
